REFLECTION

The overall coursework was exciting and very informative since it has provided lots of business setting awareness along with management skills to me. The different topics regarding business environment have improved my expertise and information regarding numerous management practices and the challenges that tag along.   However, there are those topics that appealed to me the most and which I consider having offered valuable skills and profound assistance in Diagnostic Analysis preparation.

Among them is Organizational management, this topic extended to me the awareness that there exist differences between leadership and management. I have learnt that leaders more than managers steer change and always focus in the future. These are elements I considered similar and equivalent in managing an organization. Additionally, through the readings I got to understand the art of good management, which makes problem solving so easy and exciting thereby motivating staffs.

Secondly, through the process-grounded motivational theories I have gained valuable skills in dealing with and managing employees in an efficient manner that will ensure continued focus and commitment to their duties.  Thirdly, I now know that managers in order to foster good working environments require showing great ethical standards in their operations. I have also noted the varying unethical behaviors that managers along with the staffs might engage in course of their works hurts the organizations. This goes along with maintaining a good working culture and environment in the business. Fourthly, I liked learning about creating and importance of a business model creation for every enterprise. This is an awareness that I could put in use.  

However, I have noted that I require improving my skills on issues regarding theories decryption and applications. I need to improve practice since theories go hand in hand with organizational management skills and expertise.
