Miami city in Florida has a population of approximately four hundred thousand (400,000), people as per 2010 census, which is two percent of the state’s population (U.S. Census Bureau, 2018). The program would as well introduce learning progress flexibility such as part-time and full-time classes to allow work and family balance. The program would as well encourage adaptive learning with the intent to personalize learning to match student specific education needs.
The diverse nature of the education program which aims at meeting the needs of each student is likely to get massive support from students from white families due to their focus on career and family success (Agherdien, Mey & Poisat, 2018). The program is as well likely to receive acceptance due to its affordability through institutional and government support. However, parents busy and irregular work schedules are likely to reduce the efficacy of the program implementation. Again, the whites’ perception as “already successful” would inhibit successful application of the program hence reducing the number of the whites enrolling and graduating for post-high school education.
