Professionally, I have worked closely and taken an interest in helping and inspiring my colleagues and clients. The course is the gate to developing my managerial skills as I continue to identify varying ways to improve my effectiveness and interactions with others.

One key element to positive organization relationship is coaching which is core in making one a resonant leader. The beauty of it is that I have the first element of a resonant leader which is a desire by embracing my present challenges and tomorrow’s promise. This is attained by attuning to self and the dreams, desires and the needs of the followers. Leadership is a learning process where an individual’s changes either intentional or unintentional. To drive change as a leader, it is essential for a leader to be resonant as it supports a sense of purpose, a sense of unity, creativity, higher productivity, and encourage better results.

Resonance leaders are authentic and are in tune with themselves, others and the organizational environment. An authentic leader is mindfulness meaning they are conscious about their self-monitoring and self-awareness. An individual should learn strategies to stay and remain mindfulness by attending to their spirit, mind and body. A holistic body renewal is significant while dealing with power stress. Several exercises can be used to employ mindfulness: Mindfulness Check-In and Taking Stock which both promotes the identification of strengths and weaknesses. Identifying strengths and weaknesses can be effectively employed by working on the strengths and delegating the weaknesses through strength-based approach. 

Personal leadership is a significant element in promoting positive organizational leadership. Each leader should aim to be effective in creating positive relationships.

This assignment explores on personal analysis of my effectiveness in preparing individuals to participate in emerging environments. One of the special elements in the emerging environment for leaders understands the aspect of strength-based leadership. Mind Tools (2016) illustrates the advantages of an individual to use their strengths and delegate on tasks one is not great, experienced or skilled about. Most people expect leaders to excel in all areas of their lives, but as all humans, each person has some strengths and weaknesses too. Mind Tools (2016) provides several advantages of strength based leadership approaches: improve engagement, promote effective hiring, encourage creativity, and improve delegation and consensus. 

Leaders using the strength based leadership approaches are good executor with the ability to arrange and control people, events, and tasks; and have the ability to remain focused and consistent thus, responsible in what they do. The second strength of this approach is the ability persuades, or influences others to support attitude, tasks, projects, ideas and organizational approaches. The third strength is that it promotes strategic thinking where one is able to analyze information, see connections and links, and think outside and inside the box. The last reason why to employ this approach is its ability to build relationship by encouraging teamwork to attain a common ambition or goal. 

The next significant approach to being a great leader is application of coaching. Wales (2002) explores on the benefit of coaching using a case study. One benefit of coaching is that it self-awareness and confidence through the application of external and internal development. Wales provides that an individual cannot effectively interact with their social surroundings if they fail understand their internal psychological processes. A leader without self-awareness (internal proceses) acts aggressively and behaves inappropriately. However, understanding internal processes makes a leader to understand his/her internal drivers, needs, strengths, and weaknesses.  

Another key element to coaching is confidence. Traditional methods initiated the enrollment to assertiveness course but there is few benefit of the course as it regards to confidence. However, coaching is the method to boost self-confidence and interest to others (Wales, 2002). Besides, increased self-confidence increases productivity as an individual connects values and beliefs to their work. However, to be good in coaching requires managing individual change by combining internal and external change and developments. 

Lastly, every leader needs to build an energizing personal vision. In the emerging environment, there are managers who are not happy about what they do. Many people wish to escape from their current jobs, and responsibilities. However, building on dreams assist us in identifying what we really want in life. McKee, Boyatizs and Johnston (2008) explain that visions determine what an individual wants to become as it compels him/her with efficacy, energy, strength, and optimism by confidently moving towards that goal. 

Positive Emotional Attractor is one strategy identified by McKee, Boyatizs and Johnston (2008) which holistically combines behavioral, perceptual, cognitive, emotional, and physiological responses. Positive Emotional Attractor improves the neurological functions of humans as well as their psychological elements and reduces power stress thus benefiting the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Visualization approaches are efficient in sustaining personal change which prompts and drives change. McKee, Boyatizs and Johnston (2008) explain that an individual’s vision is a rich element that combines optimism and self-efficacy in goal attainment. It gives and reflects personal identity in an arena that is hidden without visualization.
