A Description of Two things about the Lives of the Baboons at Amboseli

Baboons are hard workers
Baboons wake up early in the morning and begin their search for food. The adult baboons train their young ones to do the same. Baboons mainly feed on fruits and other seasonal vegetations they find along their way. The animals can walk several kilometers in search for food and can dig the earth with their fingers to get food. Apart from feeding on vegetation, baboons also eat meat they get from wild hare, insects, and other smaller animals (University of Notre Dame, 2018).
Baboons live in large groups for safety purposes
In the woodlands, there are dangerous animals such as leopards and hyena that baboons fear. What baboons do to be cautious of them, is that they move together in large groups to take advantage of their many eyes and ears. Thus, they tend to prefer living in broad and tall trees that accommodate their large numbers (University of Notre Dame, 2018).
Comparing the two behaviors with those of the human beings
Just as the baboons, human beings also work hard to have food. However, unlike baboons, human beings do much more to get food. In my family, we grow crops and do livestock farming. In addition, adults work to get money they use to buy other foods. Thus, just as the baboons prefer feeding on diverse foods, also human beings do the same. More so, similar to the adult baboons, parents also teach their children how to look for food.
For safety purposes, human beings also feel more comfortable when many of them live closer together. However, unlike the baboons, humans build houses to house their nuclear family and prefer locating their houses in neighborhoods that are densely populated. That is what our family and many of my friends have done for safety purposes.
